Graphics expert Venky Sambamoorty, who has worked in remarkable films like Apoorva Sagodharargal, Anjali, Indian, Jeans and Manmadhan, breathed his last, yesterday at 3pm in Ooty, following a heart attack.
His body has been flown to Chennai, where the last rites are expected to happen today. Venky Sambamoorthy has won four National Awards for Best Special Visual Effects, in a row. He has worked with almost all top directors, production houses and artistes in the country.
